Learning Solutions offers a 7 week, half-day program of supervised, social “hang out” time for kids 11-18 years old. Each week offers group opportunities for recreational sports, outings, group games, and special interest activities. Summer Structure encourages integration, with the program open to eligible siblings and community peers, at a discounted fee.
Access to an indoor gymnasium, outdoor grass area, and air-conditioned space are available for the program to utilize. Outings into the community are designed to encourage spending social time together. Too often children choose to isolate themselves at home, entertaining with technology. Summer Structure provides supervised peer group activity, within local community settings.
Transportation during program hours will consist of walking, bus, or train (group determined). Participants will be supported in making a collaborative plan around how/where they will “hang out” together. Each day teens will purchase lunch within the community. Summer Structure is a great way to offer an organic social experience with the support of experienced staff. Summer Structure provides a social environment for your teenager to enjoy summer break—outside of the house!
